Mindfulness Training & My Mental Yoga

Dr. Gotlib offers consultation and mindfulness education to schools, businesses, and organizations.  He has extensive training in mindfulness- and acceptance- based treatments from his clinical training at Princeton University, the University of Iowa, the Yale Center for Anxiety and Mood Disorders, and the Yale School of Medicine.  He is an expert in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT).

Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) is an empirically based form of psychology that uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies to help people move towards meaningful relationships, self-compassion, and vital living.

In addition to working with organizations and schools, Dr. Gotlib values the opportunity to collaborate with health and wellness companies to host workshops entitled My Mental Yoga (MMY). MMY is experiential and can be combined with other wellness practices such as yoga. Participants have the opportunity to practice various mindfulness and mental flexibility skills. Workshop content and length is customizable based on timing and needs.
